My peeps in LA, listen up. As if you didn't already know, something really awesome is headed your way. I won't keep you in suspense. It's this absolutely fabulous makeup store called Bluemercury (they got everything online at Bluemercury.com), and they've got everything you could ever need for makeup and lotions and creams and even those little machines that super-exfoliate your skin PLUS they've got a spa right there in the store and they're so helpful and friendly and you guys are so lucky now. They call it "curated boutique" which is basically like saying they have a lot of nice things.
Check out this piece in Modern Luxury that pretty much tells you what you're gonna be getting and where. They have Bluemercuries already on Melrose Avenue, in Studio City and downtown near the Staples Center. They have more coming to Malibu, Pacific Palisades, Pasadena, Venice and West Hollywood.
Some of you know how I'm from DC and I'm proud of my DC peeps when they represent outside of the DMV. I'm talking about sports, music, business, whatever. Kevin Durant, Wale, all of them. So yeah okay, maybe I'm a little biased but since Bluemercury of Barry Beck is originally from Washington DC and now is all over across the USA (150 stores and counting). You know I want see it totally blow up and go viral.
At least the Bluemercury stores they have around here are really bright and easy to find things and easy to find someone to ask questions to. It's so much fun to go in there with a bunch of girlfriends and just try a bunch of stuff on. It's such a fun place to be. I guess they think that when they look good you will too.
